Perry Ellis Fashion Show
The Perry Ellis Fall 2015 collection was showcased on February 12th during NYC Fashion Week.
The “Very Perry” line merges modern design techniques with classic mid-twentieth century active wear. Creative Director, Michael Maccari, designed just the right fit for the modern man today by using pops of red, navy blues, browns and greens combined with a range of bold fabric choices. Among the celebs catching the front row action of the show were Victor Cruz, Joe Jonas, Robert Verdi, and Nick Wooster. The collection received rave reviews and when asked about the line, Maccari stated, “Over the past 25 years the brand’s developed into a ‘wear to work’, woven suit and suit-separate staple. While we want to keep that going, we want to expand his lifestyle a little bit. The guy today knows how to experiment a little bit more, and layer in pieces that are a little more signature. They can take him anywhere.” After this past show, PGR can’t wait to see where Maccari will take the brand next.
