While he may be camera shy, he is fierce when it comes to program integration and evaluation.
Eager for a legitimate reason to move to California, McKenzie joined the exodus to the West during the dot-com boom in hopes of landing in advertising and marketing. After experiencing what the West Coast has to offer, he landed at Foote, Cone and Belding in San Francisco, where he began his career working for clients such as Coors Brewing Company, Sega, Web TV and the Oakland A’s.
While to some, beer, baseball and video games may seem like a guy’s dream job (and it was), home was calling and a move back to the East Coast imminent. After a few years in Boston, McKenzie was ready to activate his professional passion and shift out of the corporate culture of a large full-service agency. His search for an agency with passion and drive to affect their clients’ business led him to PGR Media.
As a Media Director at PGR, McKenzie relishes applying his vast media knowledge and planning skills to well-known consumer brands.
